Terms of Service
DataDingo (“DataDingo”, “we”, “us”) operates the datadingo.au website and waitlist, and provides an API and MCP server for Australian business data. These terms govern your use of the site and waitlist and, if you create one, your DataDingo account. By joining the waitlist or creating an account you agree to them.
1. Preview status
DataDingo is in private preview. Features, data coverage, pricing, and availability may change without notice, and the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
2. Waitlist
Joining the waitlist registers your interest. It does not guarantee access, pricing, or any service level.
3. Permitted and acceptable use
DataDingo data is provided for legitimate business-to-business purposes. You must not use it to: contact individuals for unsolicited consumer marketing; build or augment consumer data products; circumvent the Do Not Call Register; send commercial electronic messages without consent under the Spam Act 2003; or harass, defraud, or discriminate against any person or business. You also agree not to misuse or disrupt the site, or use data obtained through DataDingo in a way that breaches Australian law or the terms of the underlying official sources.
4. Source attribution and data accuracy
Some DataDingo content is derived from Australian government open-data releases © Commonwealth of Australia, made available under Creative Commons Attribution licences. You agree to retain attribution where required by the upstream licence.
Information derived from the Australian Business Register (ABR) is not the official or real-time ABR record, may not be current, and is not guaranteed accurate or complete. Neither the Registrar of the ABR nor the Commonwealth accepts liability for any reliance on it, and an entity’s presence is not a warranty of its viability or continued existence. Verify against the official ABR at abr.business.gov.au.
While we work to keep records current, we do not warrant that any record is complete or error-free.
5. Credits and billing
DataDingo is prepaid. Credits are non-refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law. During private beta, credits may be granted free of charge.
6. Intellectual property
The DataDingo name, branding, and site content remain the property of DataDingo.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, abuse of the service, or legal compulsion. You may delete your account at any time.
8. Liability
Data is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t warrant accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you’ve paid us in the prior 12 months.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days in advance.
